Red Ribbon Week: Send A Message. Stay Drug Free.

Red Ribbon Week at Lockhart Elementary School

On Thursday, October 31, Lockhart Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a march for “Drug Free & Bullying Awareness”.  The students from K-3rd grade participanted in a drug free parade.  Students marched with signs and banners displaying the 2019 theme “Send A Message, Stay Drug Free”.  Each class represented a t-shirt design entry which displayed a slogan relating to the theme.  The students marched from the Lockhart Elementary School to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital and back.  The faculty, staff and some patients of the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, who were not bedridden, supported the parade by coming to the front courtyard of the hospital to witness the parade.
