School Improvement Plan

Mission: To emphasize varied curricula choices and teaching methodologies in order to prepare all students to be life-long learners and to enter schools of higher learning and the global market.

Vision: The administration, faculty, staff, parents, students, and community members will lead in the innovative educational process of our students through cooperative teaching, shared planning, decision-making, and research into current and modern educational pedagogy. We will continue to stimulate our students' learning with rigorous classes and extra-curricular activities in a nurturing learning environment.

 

Goals:

  • Effective Education Systems Beginning August 2023, administrators will implement the use of a walk-through tool and calendar to monitor and collect data related to the effective classroom practices of varied instruction, assessment and intervention, which incorporates literacy and numeracy across the curriculum.
  • Quality Schools By May of 2025, students of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, on all grade levels, will demonstrate improved proficiency in ELA/Literacy and MATH.
  • Stakeholder Engagement By May of 2025, Ivanna Eudora Kean High School will demonstrate its ability to maintain current relationships and increase its partnerships with parents and students.
  • Supportive Community By May of 2025, Ivanna Eudora Kean High School will demonstrate its ability to maintain current relationships and increase its partnerships with community stakeholders.
